I read building relationships. People have a hard time communicating with people. Including friends, associates, emploers, and family. People just don’t know how to talk to someone; they don’t know how to open a conversation and if they do, they don’t let the other person talk at all.

Never criticize, condemn or complain: Sometimes people criticize others and they don’t look at themselves first. The give someone else an analysis and they need to analyis themselves. Also, people don’t understand that when they criticize someone else, they hurt their self-esteem and sometimes even their repect.

Become genuinely interested in other people: Don’t just always talk about yourself. Some people don’t want to hear about the others conceided thoughts and accomplishments. Rather, they would like to talk about other things. Also, remembering little things like birthdays and stuff, it touches peoples hearts.

Talk in terms of the other person’s interests: There has always been a big problem about people caring about what they want to talk about. Sometimes a person may ask a friend on there opinion about things, but when their friend gives them his/her opinion, they don’t like it and just forget about it. Don’t do that. Listen to what they have to say every once and awhile. They actaully may know what you are talking about.

Be a good listener: Being a good listener is important. It will build trust in a relationship. Some people just want them to listen to them.

Make the other person feel important: Do something nice for a person everyonce and awhile.

Use Names whenever possible: Remember there names, if not try and get it right; it makes them feel that they are important and that someone does notice them.

Smile: Make someones day and smile at them. Sometimes people just need someone smile to them and there day is better.

Global Warming is destroying the war we live now and days. Our crops cannnot grow anything. Glaciers are melting and going to turn into deserts if nothing is done about it. It’s also affecting the weather as well. What I mean by that is for example, our winter came late and our spring came late. Soon, our winters will be summers and summers will be winters. There are some ways that we can do as people to change some ways in what we do.

Change 5 lights
Look for Energyr Star sufficient products
Heat and cool smartly
Seal and insulate your home
Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle
Be green in your yard
Use water efficiently

I can take these 7 steps and use them to my knowledge and the best of my ability so that I can save energy.

I have always had a burden for Africe for some reason. I always wanted to go over there and see there life style and I want to help so much. They have so many problems over there in that country. I want to do something about, or even die trying. That’s my burden. And that’s why I am going to write an article from that section.

There are some CEO’s that want to raise money so that they could start some buisness in Africa. They want to include things like phones. Some of their goals are including to cut the pverty level in Africa; it’s one of the main goals they are trying to accomplish. Also, there is a great number of people that have HIV/Aids and that also want to cut that number down. But they realize that they that is going to be a struggle to get rid of. They want buisness to take risky movements like this so that the government will not have to provide the money for this risky business.

I can’t believe that graduation is less than two weeks away. Well, 13 days to be exact. I can’t believe that I have made it thus far. I never knew that I could graduate period. I am lucky to even be alive and some people ask me why graduation is important and I simply say because I am not suppose to. And they think that I am crazy for saying that and don’t understand why I am saying that. I am saying that because I’m not suppose to because I’m not suppose to be alive period. But to be honest, some people think that the stress isn’t worth, in actuality, it is so worth it. Knowing that you can do better things it is worth it. I hope that I can strive to do more with it.

Army Reserves…

Today I read about the difference between the army reserves and the active-duty army. People are easily confused about the differences. Acutally, today is the 100th year anniversary of the army reserves, actually. It’s made up if part-time soldiers. They have to undergo full-time training, and then they had to spend a weekend each month training, and also extensive training during each week or so. After the cold war had to be cut down because a deal with the money. Today, there is a total of 524,000 people in the reserves. The people that are being transportated into Iraq are The reserves and the National Guard, for the most part. By 2010, they are hoping to rebuild the soldiers to 527,000 because the deaths of that are occuring in Iraq today. Right now, the army are trying to avoid some problems by trying to make the reserves a full-time job for the soldiers rather than part-time.

This day that the seniors had their picnic. And once again, I felt left out. All I did was sit there and get burned from sitting in the sun. But, it was kind of pretty fun though. I went out thinking that I wasn’t going to get wet and I ended up getting wet, lol. And all I did was sit there. But a guy come up to me and poured a whole bucket of water on me. It was pretty crazy though. But yeah, I was pretty burnt. You touch it and it would hurt like crazy. Oh, the food was good too. Mr. Bradford is not a bad cook afterall, he did Pretty well. And the plates were packed with food. There were beans, a hot dog, hamburger, fries, grilled chicken, and suasage. And there was chips, drinks, and cake that came a long with it. It was really, really good.

This day I was bowling with the rest of my graduating class. I really didn’t do anything really. I just kinda sat and talked to one of my friends. I didn’t do anything because I kind of felt out a little bit. It’s my senior year and I have not done one thing with my senior class. I’m wasn’t planning going to prom, or the senior trip, and couldn’t even go to the movies with the rest of them because I don’ t believe in going to the movies. But it’s kind of crazy though I guess. I wouldn’t really know. Really, I shouldn’t care about all that stuff anyways. In the end, it’s kind of not worth it because well, I know you’re entering a new stage in life and stuff but there are other ways to celebrate it than just doing things like that. That’s my opinion though.

This weekend was really good. I had so much fun. I didn’t go to prom, but I still had lots of fun. Instead of going to prom, my fiance took me out to eat to the Melting Pot! The food was awesome! He didn’t like it because he said he left hungry but I was completely full though. We got the four course deal. You get a salad of your choice. Then you get fondue of your choice. With the fondue, they give you chips and different vegetables to dip on the fondue. We ordered the fiesta fondue. It had beer in it, to give it flavor, it also had salsa and peppers to give it some spice. It was really, really good. For the entre, we had fillet mignon, shrimp, prok, raviolli, steak, and vanilla chicken. We had to cook it ourselves. We loved it. the next, it was the dessert. Talk about awesome. They had a menu just for the fondue chocolate. We ordered something with caramel in it. I don’t remember exactly what it was called. BUt we recieved strawberries, bananas, rice crispies, marshmallows, and angel cake. Right in the middle was a slice of cheesecake. It was so good. After we had left there, we wanted to walk around downtown but it was raining. We left, went to krogers, bought some movies and some popcorn and watched a movie until about midnight. We had so much fun. We didn’t want to leave each other. But we had to.

I am learning a really good lesson, and it has to deal with money. Yea, money, the little green stuff that people love to spend and never think about it. Yesterday, I was paid and today my fiance was paid, and we just sat down and talked on the phone during lunch and talked about our money. To be honest, I think we are doing pretty good. He makes like 3 times as much as I do, I mean afterall, I only work at Krogers and have been working 8 hours a week. But sometimes money get kinda hard to handle. He loves to spend it on electronics and games and I simply love to go shopping. We also love to go out to eat as well, which were all of our money is going. But we are working on this together and from now on we are going to start budgeting things out before we go somewhere and buy things. If I wanna go shopping for clothes or shoes, I am going to start asking myself, do I need this? What can I use it for? Everyonce and while, it’s ok to spend things on yourself, but still. Prices are going up everywhere so it’s crucial you save every penny you have.

What do we do now?

Society today is so messed up. I was just walking through the hall ways today and a girl was upset because she had lost her best friend. I believe that she stated that the just turned 17 year old boy was trying to rob someone. He was instantly shot in the leg and immediately died on the spot. This incident shows just how society and the people that live in this world today. It’s disturbing really. All the songs about f this, f that, we gonna shoot this, we gonna shoot that, it influences these teenagers lives. Also, their lives are messed up because of home lives. How they get treated by their parents, or how they don’t get treated by their parents. It’s so funny though because you can be too strict and have the child become rebellious. Or you can just let them do whatever they want and they do things that get themselves in trouble anyways. Either way, something needs to happen in this society, it needs a change and no one is willing to do that. All the people that have tried, they have been assassinated. What do we do now?
